The birth of the Bell’Aja brand
The Bell’Aja Estate was born in 2016 with a 6 ha estate in Bolgheri on the central Tuscan coast. The hectares are combined in a single plot, cultivated with Cabernet Sauvignon (2 ha) and Merlot (4 ha). The vineyards are located in the Le Sondraie area, on clayey-sandy soils with east-west orientation of the rows.
The expansion of the estate
In 2022, the presence in the Bolgheri area was consolidated with the acquisition of another 9 hectares mainly dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah, and located between Castagneto Carducci and Bolgheri, about 5 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea. The company produces three labels, each of which faithfully represents the essence of the Bolgheri terroir. To date, General Manager Carlo De Biasi has been at the helm of Tenuta Bell’Aja since 2022.
