The story
Alejandro P. Bulgheroni is an Argentine entrepreneur of Italian descent and a great wine enthusiast who, over the years, has invested heavily in Tuscany, first in Chianti Classico and then in Montalcino.
In 2016, he also invested in Bolgheri, with Tenuta Le Colonne and Tenuta Meraviglia. Tenuta Le Colonne is located in the lower part of the estate, which stretches from the foothills down to the sea, on predominantly sandy soils; Tenuta Meraviglia, on the other hand, is in the upper part, characterized by volcanic soils.
Nomen omen
Tenuta Meraviglia makes uniqueness its trademark: volcanic soils, 34 hectares of vineyards planted mostly with Cabernet Franc, with the exception of a portion planted with Vermentino, and a new designer winery built inside a former quarry. This project is not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and focused on environmental restoration.
