Fattoria Terre del Marchesato

The story

Emillio Fuselli came to Bolgheri in 1954 with a group of colonist from the Marche. All together they bought 110 hectares of farming land from Marquis Mario Incisa della Rochetta, to be divided among all their families. Henceforth the name “Terre del Marchesato”.

Maurizio, Emilio’s nephew, born in 1965, at 23 years old was already a proficient farmer, but he learned the ways of viticulture at Guado al Tasso, where he worked as production manager.

Maturity

After a decade he had achieved enough experience to shape its own path and in 1998 he gave new life to Terre del Marchesato, turning it in a proper wine estate, led today by him, his wife Giovanna and their sons Alessandro, Samuele and Filippo.
